First, the full incorporated name.

On Track St. Thomas:  A Stronger Future Linked to Our Heritage.

That rather ungainly corporate name also describes the organization perfectly. Established in 1994, On Track was formed in order to promote the economic health of our community by highlighting its proud railway heritage.

In its 20 plus years, On Track has undertaken several important projects including the purchase and stabilization of the CASO Station, now owned and operated by the North American Railway Hall of Fame.

On Track was also instrumental in establishing the Iron Horse Festival and coordinating the numerous railway-themed murals by prominent artists, located across various sites in downtown.

Another claim to fame?  One of the very first project workers was none other than current St. Thomas mayor Heather Jackson.

In 2012 On Track was reorganized with a new board of directors intent on the biggest project yet:  the purchase and conversion of the MCR bridge across Kettle Creek in St. Thomas.

On Track is incorporated in Ontario as a not-for-profit organization. It has established a unique partnership with the St. Thomas-Elgin Community Foundation and the City of St. Thomas to allow for the receipting of major donations for tax purposes.
